Air India is a flag carrier of India operating passenger and cargo flights within the country and abroad. The airline is nationalised and is governed by National Aviation Company of India Limited founded in 2007 with the purpose of merging Air India with Indian Airlines. The main hubs of the airline are Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai and Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. Air India signed code-sharing agreements with 12 international airlines, which allows it operating flights to 130 airports of the world including 12 Indian airports. On 11 July 2014, Air India joined the Star Alliance.

I will never choose AirIndia henceforth. Last month Jan 20th traveled from Shanghai to Chennai via Mumbai. 4hrs flight delay caused again further 8hrs delay in Mumbai Airport. Instead of 10:30am arrival , I have arrived night 10:30pm. Last October same issues occurred when my family traveled to Shanghai to Chennai.Landed at Mumbai around 9:30 am and asked for next connection flight and no one bothered to organize next flight tickets from Mumbai to Chennai. I was continuously requesting JetAirways and some how got 5pm . The day was very horrible.I will never recommend AirIndia and would not travel anymore
