Before departure, it is important to contact the relevant institutions such as the embassy/consulate/visa centres of your destination and connection countries, as well as the carrier or transit airports to confirm the following details:
- if you need a transit visa, which may depend on the connection airport;
- whether you are allowed to leave the airport during your connection, which may depend on your visa;
- whether you need to collect your baggage or if it will be automatically transferred to your next flight, which may depend on the carrier, duration of connection, and other factors;
- whether the airline company will provide hotel and catering during long connections;
- whether you need to check in during each connection or only once on the first segment of your flight.
Please note that some airports may be closed during certain hours for technical reasons. In that case, you will need a transit (or other) visa for that country.
You can find this information on the airline and airport websites, or by contacting the embassy/consulate/visa centres of the relevant countries.
The agency provides a link on the booking page where you can review the requirements for travel documents, visa issues and medical requirements for your travel route before placing your booking.
